The film would forever change the way movies were marketed by studios after if grossed over $300 million dollars in its initial run.

Today in strangeness, On May 26, 1977, George Willig climbed the South Tower of the World Trade Center in NYC. On this day in 1984, Don Cain of Philadelphia set the record for keeping a frisbee aloft– for an astonishing 16.72 seconds.
